This research aimed at examining factors influencing college students to adopt mobile learning (m-learning) services. An integrated model combined the information systems success (ISS) and Unified Theory of Acceptance Use Technology (UTAUT2), was developed identify m-learning determinants. A sample 552 recruited test hypotheses using structural equation modeling (SEM). The significant explained 70 % variance toward Behavioral Intention (BI) based on SEM results. While price value (PV), effort expectancy (EE), performance (PE), privacy (PR) were not predictors BI, results neural network ranked predictive power in following order: quality, habit (HB), system quality (SYQ), hedonic motivation (HM), facilitating condition (FC), social influence (SI), positively influenced adoption. findings this study helps policy makers higher educational institutions formulate strategies enhance students' experience upcoming crises place a focus sustainable environment.

Abstract Digital ecosystems are a highly relevant phenomenon in contemporary practice, offering unprecedented value creation opportunities for both companies and consumers. However, the success of these hinges on their ability to establish appropriate incentive systems that attract engage diverse actors. Following notion setting “the right” incentives is essential forming growing digital ecosystems, this article presents an integrated framework supports scholars practitioners identifying orchestrating into powerful encourage active participation engagement . This emphasizes importance understanding how individuals groups motivated ecosystem incentivize them effectively. To demonstrate its applicability value, we show application context emergent within Smart Living domain.

Purpose This study synthesises the self-determination theory (SDT), expectation-confirmation model (ECM), and protection motivation (PMT) to formulate an integrated theoretical framework that elucidates process of shaping intention continue using facial recognition payment (FRP) under conditional impact perceived technology security. Design/methodology/approach Data from 667 Beijing Winter Olympics visitors with FRP experience were collected through online survey analysed variance based-structural equation modelling (VB-SEM). Findings reveals evolves three key stages. Initially, in expectation stage, multidimensional concept artificial autonomy (sensing, thought, action), which is underpinned by self-determination, pivotal, strongly influencing perceptions service enhancement fostering trust FRP. Subsequently, confirmation stage underscores importance as vital drivers maintaining usage, while also contributing subjective well-being. Crucially, security emerges a moderating factor, enhancing positive intentions towards FRP, thus its sustained adoption. Originality/value stands out revealing nuanced interplay between user perceptions, particularly concerning enhancement, security, trust, they influence well-being continued adoption Robustly grounded SDT, ECM, PMT, study’s findings are critical for comprehending core elements specific promote use, especially we consider potential widespread implementation. Therefore, this not only advances understanding but offers practical guidance optimising deployment strategies rapidly evolving technological landscape.

Online games are popular technology-enabled applications designed to satisfy a wide range of player needs. Self-determination theory (SDT) has been used in past online game studies explain satisfaction, but it is rarely examine design as trigger for which reveals research gap. This gap keeps makers the dark about that effectively players, throwing gamers' ongoing usage into doubt. Aiming fill this gap, we proposed three new elements and examined their impacts on continuance, usage. We followed 546 participants who responded our survey permitted us collect system-captured data, generating two-wave two-source data. found achievability immersibility players. Competence satisfaction autonomy satisfaction—but not relatedness satisfaction—are characteristics secure players' continuance actual Two replication were conducted further verify these findings. Our study extends SDT backward game-contextualized triggers satisfaction. These theorized showcase system design, theoretically clarifying means using games, providing practical insights guide securing
