Abstract This paper presents a metasurface with three different useable configurations. The full consists of PTFE enclosure having 12 compartments sandwiched between two layers 2D periodic metallic patterned FR-4 substrates. can be kept empty or filled deionized (DI) water. first configuration is achieved when all the are empty, second alternate DI water, and third has In configuration, acts as normal electromagnetic (EM) wave reflector, in it dual-band spatial passband filter which allows EM waves within certain frequency bands to pass through multiband absorber. operate S C microwave bands. thickness entire structure only 13.04 mm, corresponds around λ 0 /3.7 ( free space wavelength at highest operating band). transmission absorption have good angular stabilities up an incident angle 60°.

In this paper, a novel dual-band metasurface filter (MSF) designed for accurately differentiating pulse waves (PWs) and continuous (CWs) is proposed, which based on complementary cross resonator (CSR) structure adhered dielectric substrate integrated with capacitive nonlinear circuit. The unit cell of the MSF comprises two identical CSR structures: one circuits configured in parallel capacitor (C1) within structure. These structures loaded are fabricated substrate. simulation outcomes reveal that, normally incident CWs an input power 10 dBm, transmittance reaches as high 97.1% at 2.0 GHz 93.9% 3.45 GHz. contrast, when it comes to 50 ns short PWs, remains consistently below 6% throughout entire frequency range from 1 5 addition, PWs increases significantly width widens aforementioned discrete frequencies. ensuing data corroborates that −15 15 difference between first rises then falls increases. Specifically, specified dBm angle oblique incidence ranges 0° 60°, context TE TM modes, exceeds 80% around both GHz, while 15%. Finally, effects resistance capacitance also studied. proposed herein showcases its potential applications wireless communication well realm anti-electromagnetic interference. electromagnetic (EM) waveform modulation band 1–5 has great development prospects low-frequency working fields such radar antennas EM protection.

Abstract This paper investigates a metasurface-based broadband polarization converter (BPC). Notably, to achieve working frequency region (4.22–10.73 GHz), single substrate layer is used instead of several layers. The design device converts an incidence wave that linearly polarized (LP) into reflected cross-polarized (CrP) over the range 4.22–10.73 GHz up oblique incident angle 20°. In addition, fabricated, and there strong agreement between modeling measurement results.
