Purpose This study investigates the interactions between entrepreneurial orientation, strategic agility and corporate social responsibility (CSR) in influencing sustained competitive advantage Moroccan small- medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Additionally, it analyzed influence of intensity, firm size age on attaining advantage. Design/methodology/approach We employed a dual approach to analyze 300 SMEs, joining partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) necessary condition analysis (NCA). PLS-SEM was utilized maximize explained variance endogenous constructs handle mediation effects, aligning with study’s explanatory purpose. The NCA used identify conditions for by examining extent which (i.e. CSR) are present all cases where is present. Today’s globalized economic system and the growing competition for human talent worldwide will test university graduates’ competencies to perform jobs that do not yet exist. Positioned as a catalyst project-based entrepreneurial learning, Business Plan Competitions (BPCs) serve valuable learning experience effectively prepares students interrelated systems of 21st century, which are complementary contradictory. The research objective was evaluate key factors enhance BPC participants’ competency utilization overall success by exploring winners non-winners’ cognitive abilities, personal traits, occupational interests. Statistically significant results were found Agreeableness, Conscientiousness, Emotional stability, General ability, with higher averages observed among winners. Additionally, alongside Social interest emerged predictors performance in BPC. Our study advances knowledge education applying thinking foster its efficacy, development focus. can practically guide educators policymakers designing implementing improved programs.
