Entrepreneurial orientation, agility and responsibility: a triad for sustainable competitive advantage

Purpose
This
study
investigates
the
interactions
between
entrepreneurial
orientation,
strategic
agility
and
corporate
social
responsibility
(CSR)
in
influencing
sustained
competitive
advantage
Moroccan
small-
medium-sized
enterprises
(SMEs).
Additionally,
it
analyzed
influence
of
intensity,
firm
size
age
on
attaining
advantage.
Design/methodology/approach
We
employed
a
dual
approach
to
analyze
300
SMEs,
joining
partial
least
squares
structural
equation
modeling
(PLS-SEM)
necessary
condition
analysis
(NCA).
PLS-SEM
was
utilized
maximize
explained
variance
endogenous
constructs
handle
mediation
effects,
aligning
with
study’s
explanatory
purpose.
The
NCA
used
identify
conditions
for

examining
extent
which
(i.e.
CSR)
are
present

CSR

globalized
economic
system
and
the
growing
competition
for
human
talent
worldwide

test
university
graduates’
competencies
to
perform
jobs
that

yet
exist.

a

project-based
entrepreneurial

Business
Plan
Competitions
(BPCs)
serve
valuable
learning
experience
effectively
prepares
students
interrelated
systems
of
21st
century,

complementary
