In this study, numerical analyses were conducted to investigate the cyclic behavior of U-shaped dampers under varying load orientations. After calibration model, performed examine influence damper's radius and thickness on effective elastic stiffness, strength, energy absorption, equivalent viscous damping ratio (EVDR). Additionally, equations proposed estimate these results design objectives. The most influential variables damper each outcome subsequently evaluated. study found that increasing while decreasing its increased dissipation, EVDR, ultimate strength.
