Abstract This paper explores the photocatalytic degradation of Reactive Orange 16 (RO16) dye in textile wastewater employing a novel CuO@A-TiO 2 /Ro-TiO nanocomposite. The nanocomposite was synthesized via hydrothermal technique, resulting monoclinic phase leaf-shaped CuO loaded on hexagonal wurtzite structure rod-shaped ZnO, as confirmed by FE-SEM and XRD analyses. Optical experiments revealed band gap energies 1.99 eV for CuO, 2.19 3.34 Photocatalytic showcased complete elimination 100 mg/L RO16 solution (150 mL) after 120 min UV light illumination sunlight illumination, emphasizing nanocomposite's efficiency under both sources. study further delves into application actual samples irradiation. results underscore remarkable efficacy treating wastewater, positioning it promising candidate sustainable efficient treatment applications. research contributes valuable insights development advanced materials treatment.

Newly developed fluid called phase change materials (PCM) used to accumulate solar thermal energy. This paraffin-based is mixed with hybrid nanoparticles composed of titanium dioxide "TiO2″ and copper oxide "CuO". Using this fluid, we hope improve the efficiency industrial installations. A computational dynamics (CFD) model was using Ansys Fluent 19, coupled a home code implemented in C programming language as "user-defined function". Initially, validated against experimental data, then parametric study conducted investigate impact pure paraffin PCM nanoparticles-paraffin PCM, well effect varying mass fraction heat transfer flow rate. geometric parameters such number fins installed storage tank were also considered during analysis. On basis obtained results, it found that incorporation (PCMs) within has potential significantly prolong operational duration systems. Additionally, at 1% concentration increased average temperature by 8% decreased melting time 13.29% compared PCM.
