We examine economic environmental performances modes, particular emphasis mutual benefits costs shared partners. Our results reveal that collaboration sustainable improvement leads higher sustainability levels, augmented fees, increased sales volumes compared noncollaborative strategies. Additionally, we find generally profits superior performance for manufacturers, contingent upon enhancement being sufficiently effective. Empirical evidence from surveys interviews industry experts supports our theoretical findings, underscoring critical role achieving both within supply chain. study contributes literature by evaluating manufacturers' strategic decisions selecting modes accentuates importance advancing practices.
