Purpose Despite the importance of platform digitization capability to established firms, empirical research related capability, resource reconfiguration and organizational resilience remains scarce. Based on action view contingency theory, this study constructs an integrated theoretical framework examine mediation effect moderation environmental munificence in relationship between resilience. Design/methodology/approach Survey data comprising 312 valid responses are collected from manufacturing firms China. Partial least squares equation modeling (PLS) was used test hypotheses. Findings Results showed that is positively Resource recombination reallocation mediate capability–organizational relationship. Furthermore, significantly strengthens while weakens Originality/value This reveals path affecting resilience, discusses different role makes incremental contributions view. It also studies impact under condition munificence, which provides a new perspective for enriches application theory crisis context.

Today, businesses are adopting digital transformation strategies to make their production processes more agile, efficient, and sustainable. At the same time, lean manufacturing principles aim create value by reducing waste in processes. In this context, it is important that machine be selected for inventory tracking can meet both technological features suitable goals operational efficiency criteria required manufacturing. study, multi-criteria decision-making methods were used select most based on perspectives. This study applies a framework integrates Continuous Intuitionistic Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (CINFU AHP) Combinative Distance-Based Assessment CODAS) tracking. The contributes providing actionable insights robust sensitivity analyses, ensuring reliability under fluctuating conditions. CINFU AHP method determines relative importance of each criterion incorporating expert opinions. Six criteria, Speed (C1), Setup Time (C2), Ease Operate Move (C3), Ability Handle Multiple Operations (C4), Maintenance Energy Cost (C5), Lifetime (C6), considered study. C1 C4, with scores 0.25 0.23, respectively. Following weighting, CODAS ranks alternative machines performance across weighted criteria. Four (High-Speed Automated Scanner (A1), Multi-Functional Robotic Arm (A2), Mobile Inventory Tracker (A3), Cost-Efficient Fixed Counter (A4)) evaluated selected. results indicate Alternative A1 ranked first because its superior speed efficiency, while A3 last due high initial cost despite being cost-effective. Finally, analysis further examines impact varying weights rankings. Quantitative findings demonstrate how applied AHP&CODAS methodology influenced rankings alternatives weights. revealed C4 essential Machine A2 outperformed others Sensitivity changes may affect ranking.

Purpose This study aims to demonstrate the impact of inventory component leanness on productivity, with market concentration and product competitiveness being moderators. Design/methodology/approach explores relationship between productivity. Furthermore, moderating role moderated are demonstrated via two three-model systems. Findings At its core, productivity initially decreases raw materials (RM) until a turning point at end sample, beyond which incremental effect RM becomes positive. That is, U-shaped Moreover, work-in-process (WIP) finished goods (FG) is linear The moderation analysis highlights that key Practical implications Managers should anticipate an initial dip when adopting lean practices, improvements expected over time. Additionally, by competitiveness, requiring adjustments strategies based conditions competitive dynamics. Abstract The present study evaluates how the joint implementation of circular economy (CE) and operational excellence (OE) practices supported by adoption industry 4.0 technologies (Internet Things Big Data Analytics) influence manufacturing firms' performance environmental sustainability. Drawing from paradox theory, it also investigates moderating role managing paradoxical tensions arising these implementations. To test hypothesized relationships, survey data are collected 147 Indian firms implementing CE, OE practices, internet things (IoT) big analytics (BDA)‐enabled digital systems. analyzed using structural equation modeling moderated mediation analysis. Results indicate a direct significant effect IoT BDA‐enabled systems on sustainability, partial CE implementations, respectively. There is strong moderation impact implementations performance. Additionally, conditional indirect sustainability outcomes BDA increases with greater effort in tensions. answers call for empirical research organizational that surface due to conflicting demands initiatives related efficiency

This paper studies the mediating role of dynamic capability in Industry 4.0 (I4.0) adoptions and its effect on manufacturers' operational innovation performances, based microfoundational theoretic view capability. Based survey 213 manufacturers from six countries (three developing three developed countries) that appeared top quartile 2021 Global Manufacturing Risk Index, we validated proposed model empirically through structured equation modeling. Our results imply I4.0 indicate higher performance among economies economies. In both cases, mediated effect. On other hand, show no significant impact countries. The posits a deliberate effort to exercise capability, reap harvest investments, which differs economic contexts. Consequently, this enables excellence leadership
