Amidst severe ecological challenges and resource constraints, realizing the value of products—such as timber, non-timber forest products, ecosystem services like carbon sequestration biodiversity conservation—has emerged an innovative approach within realm paying for services. This study examines 35 cases product realization in China, using a comprehensive analytical framework encompassing policy support, market participation, endowment utilization. Utilizing qualitative comparative analysis method (cs-QCA), explores driving mechanisms behind realization. These findings indicate that guidance planning are indispensable value. Additional factors, such fiscal financial leadership from pioneering enterprises, innovation promotion, utilization both natural human resources, play varying roles across different grouping paths to degrees. The uncovers following three typical mechanisms: government-led; government–market hybrid; integrated type. reveals each region should choose appropriate path based on its unique conditions. research significantly enhances theoretical understanding provides scientific foundation formulation practical applications.

Although recent years have witnessed a considerable increase in studies on the economic value of ecological products, extant literature has overlooked multidimensional enhancement product from perspective farmers’ well-being. This research aims to examine how Realization Ecological Product Value (EPVR) serves as crucial pathway promoting overall well-being farmers developing countries. Through case study village southeastern China, this reveals that EPVR can enhance via various mechanisms follows: (1) Economic solution enrich livelihood diversity, achieved by leveraging rural resource endowments and comparative advantages; (2) Fair social protection program enabling enjoy benefits further achieving urban-rural integration; (3) Environmental plan balances production, living, ecology; (4) Grassroots governance tool ability form collaborative model community shared interests. offers theoretical support for enhancing human through realization areas.

The realization of ecological product value (EPV) is a crucial pathway for green economic development and the practical implementation both United Nations Sustainable Development Goals China’s “Two Mountains Theory”, which emphasizes need harmony between protection growth. While China has initiated several pilot projects, there remains no consensus on classification products or measurement EPV levels, largely due to limitations in existing accounting systems, fail address EPV’s complexity. This study introduces novel framework measuring realization, categorizing into pure public, quasi-public, operational types. It demonstrates conservation, providing viable incentives development. allows governments businesses see that protecting sustainably utilizing natural resources can also yield benefits, thus offering new feasible Using Zhejiang Province as case study, authors present an improved coupling coordination model mechanical equilibrium assess emphasizing importance tailored regional strategies. Additionally, obstacle degree employed identify analyze factors limiting realization. results show (1) different types follow distinct paths within “economic–ecological–social” system; (2) varies significantly across regions, with trend being lower southwest higher northeast; (3) obstacles differ subsystems, particular attention needed improve quasi-public social domains; (4) such pesticide use number tourist attractions affect at provincial municipal respectively. presents highlights spatial–temporal variability regions. provides valuable insights developing countries ecologically vulnerable areas seeking optimize their supporting sustainable advancing Theory” transformation.

Virgin coconut oil (VCO) is an edible vegetable that eco-friendly, biodegradable, and sustainable, with high thermal chemical stability as a phase change material (PCM). In this work, VCO filled fumed silica A200 nanoparticles was tested cutting fluid in drilling processes. Silica concentrations ranging from 1 to 4 vol% were analyzed. Thermal properties evaluated by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) conductivity measurements at different temperatures concentrations. showed enhancement the addition of powder reduced increasing temperature. Based on flow properties, VCO-3A200 found be optimal concentration. The images nanofluid taken after 60 s exhibited reduction 12 °C respect dry process. friction coefficient versus shear rate also measured. With 8% VCO, compared test achieved. 3 base 16% test. use dispersed has proven recyclable, environmentally friendly refrigerant lubricant fluid.

With their unique karst geomorphology and rich biodiversity, forest ecosystems present huge ecological potential, products promise great economic value. In this context, an important way to realize the sustainable development of areas is transformation such potential into advantages. paper, Guizhou Province, China, one most representative regions with geomorphology, examined in a case study. Using equivalent factor method, values various states Province were calculated for years 2010, 2015, 2020. Furthermore, two-way fixed-effects model was employed examine influence green finance on realization these region. The findings paper are as follows: (1) value presented increasing trend from 2010 2020, significantly promoted products. Robust estimates could still be obtained after endogeneity control. (2) results heterogeneity testing indicated that slower poor environment, more significantly. (3) mechanism test showed by providing financial support rocky desertification control restoration projects, restoration, governance, vegetation while mitigating desertification; way, drove forestry industrial upgrading accelerate products, thereby strongly supporting areas.

The ecological value of cultivated land contributes to a harmonious agricultural environment. Green finance support is essential promoting the land. Nevertheless, research specifically centered on as primary focus remains limited in exploring relationship between and green finance, ignoring fact that can bolster functions drive sustainable practices. To address this gap, an objective indicator level was introduced, its variations at both provincial national levels from 2003 2022 were investigated. Results indicate increased over time, with higher values clustering spatially southern regions. Subsequently, specific spatial correlations revealed using Durbin model. results show enhanced level, lag term being particularly pronounced. These evident eastern regions but insignificant western Furthermore, detailed range indirect spillover effects estimated, demonstrating other provinces positive when geographic distance them close. In summary, these conclusions offer practical recommendations for eco-friendly management land, including strategies vertical collaboration central local administrations horizontal adaptation by governments east, central, west based conditions.
