Brazil is the largest producer of sugarcane (Saccharum spp.) in world, and this crop’s response to climate soil water storage essential for optimal management genetic/yield improvements. The objective our study was build a multivariate model estimate yield subtropical conditions northwestern Paraná region using climatic variables. Observed data used from experiments conducted at Experimental Station Sugarcane Genetic Improvement Program Universidade Federal do Paraná. varieties RB72454, RB867515, RB966928, RB036066 were analyzed 1998–2006, 2008, 2018 2019 harvest years. Stepwise multiple linear regression analysis with repeated cross-validation developed given variables crop growth phases. accumulated degree days Phases I II Phase development significantly impacted yield. model, development, successfully predicted varieties. production models like one we can improve greater sustainability change adaption other areas.
