Soil physicochemical properties affect crop growth and yield. The addition of fertilizers can improve the soil quality during cultivation, leading to increased agricultural production. Organic may be produced by composting straw that would otherwise discarded as waste, with potential implications for sustainable development. However, mechanism underlying effects compost on is unknown. In this study, a microbial agent suitable decomposition in cold regions was used large-scale biological fermentation. obtained after straw. mixed different proportions then cultivate Songjing 2 rice plants. significantly yield plants enhanced various physiological indices. Moreover, treatment improved (e.g., pH, enzyme activity, nutrient composition, diversity) optimized conditions growth. addition, application influenced expression genes metabolic pathways well mediating secondary metabolite synthesis plant hormone signal transduction. study data reflect applicability low-temperature fermentation technology maximizing

In order to fully utilize the resources of agricultural waste in Gansu Province's semi-arid area. Local commercial organic fertilizer (ST1) was selected as control, and four kinds planting breeding composts (PBCs) were designed with sheep manure (SM), cow (CM), tail vegetable (TV), mushroom residue (MR), corn straw (CS) study effects different PBC formulations on yield quality mini Chinese cabbage. contrast local fertilizer, STS (SM:TV:CS = 6:3:1) treatment increased economic by 5.56%. Additionally, also significantly VC content cabbage, acid 14.66%, free amino 38.98%, nitrate concentration reduced 41.05%. Meanwhile, formula concentrations polyphenols essential acids cabbage had excellent performance volatile compounds. As a result, can make full use produce high The provided theoretical foundation technical guidance for screening suitable compost formulas, well achievement high-yield high-quality production areas central province.

In order to study the effect of cotton stalk particle size on humification, stalks different lengths (5 cm, 10 15 cm) were co-composted with pig manure for 49 days. The results showed that cm treatment (T2) maintained a high-temperature stage 8 days, and total organic carbon decreased by 60.0%. T2 highest cellulose (57.0%) hemicellulose (77.1%) degradation rate, lowest lignin accumulation (69.8%), humus content (34.94 g/kg), which was 88.1% higher than in initial stage. FTIR analysis revealed significant changes functional groups. aromatic C=C stretching vibration (1650 cm−1) group increased 79.8%, showing better aromatization degree other two Two-dimensional spectroscopy phenolic alcohol hydroxyl groups first involved followed polysaccharides, hemicellulose, lignin, structures, enhanced this material transformation pathway. Microbial diversity identified seven main phyla, among Planctomycetota Acidobacteria abundance, closely related cellulose, compounds. Second, abundance characteristic species such as Planifilum fulgidum also certain advantages group. summary, optimized microbial activity matter effectively regulated composting humification process.

Introduction: Green waste is the second largest organic solid beyond of household in Chinese cities. Clarifying green generation significant for efficient management and utilization. Methods: Unlike previous studies that mainly concentrated on quantifying at a single time point within particular region, this research grounded urban greening data 30 provinces China spanning from 2003 to 2022. It systematically computes analyzes overall scenario its spatio - temporal distribution traits China. Moreover, it innovatively employs adjusted IPAT LMDI (Environmental Impact = Population × Affluence Technology Logarithmic Mean Divisia Index) model probe into key driving factors influencing production. Results Discussions: Research has found that: 1) From 2022, total amount landscaping resources showed an upward trend, with 10.7134 million tons increase nearly 5 times 60.9705 2022; 2) The density resource shows fluctuating characteristic high east low west, gradually evolving southeast northwest; 3) population size, economic development, environmental pressure all have positive effect resources, but development negative decreasing number resources; 4) Anticipated against backdrop global warming, sprawl, improving space standards, China’s production projected persistently rise, forecasting between 83.35 91.48 by 2030. Although study achieved some progress analyzing spatial characteristics forces waste, there still room further improvement terms accuracy scope future studies.
