The control of environmental parameters in livestock farming is essential to achieve optimal ranges temperature and humidity. HVAC systems for this purpose are characterized by high energy demands, causing significant GHG emissions when relying on fossil fuels. aim study the development testing a sustainable heating system nursery barn hosting 2500 weaners, as well assessment effectiveness performance new system. This work involved implementation renewable source (RES) incorporating borehole thermal storage photovoltaic collectors, integrated with Dual-Source Heat Pump. A smart was installed collected data were processed define settings plant production efficiency. terms conditions assessed basis analyzed, particular reference animal-occupied zones. results showed that mix RESs can be properly defined an automated meet specific requirements swine farm, thanks project specifically designed exploit resources typically available environments.
