Abstract Illuminated semiconductors have been used to remediate a variety of pollutants found in water. industrial wastewater treatment using UV irradiation combination with oxidants or catalysts (TiO2). In this study, TiO2-SnO2 nanocomposites different ratios will be prepared and characterized, their use the photocatalytic degradation acid red 37 dye aqueous solution under as model pollutant examined. The were characterized XRD, TEM, EDAX, FTIR, XPs. Utilizing batch photoreactor, was investigated utilizing several advanced oxidation processes varying SnO2 contents (0–15 weight percent) inorganic antioxidants (H2O2, Na2S2O8, NaIO4) UV/TiO2-to-SnO2 ratio (90:10). The biosynthesis of nanomaterials using plants has become a promising substitute for conventional chemical and physical methods. This study aims to produce Palladium nanoparticles (PdNPs) utilizing Turmeric (Curcuma longa) extract assess their pharmacological application as antioxidant, antifungal, antibacterial, anticancer agents. PdNPs were characterized transmission electron microscopy, field emission scanning X-ray diffraction, Fourier transform infrared, ultraviolet–visible spectroscopy. showed antioxidant activity the DPPH assay at all tested concentrations. percentage scavenging effect 130 µg/mL was 33 %. same concentration noticeable antifungal antibacterial agar well diffusion method against candida species Escherichia coli within an inhibition range 17 mm 20 mm, respectively. Also, exhibited significant cytotoxic concentrations MTT MCF-7 breast cancer cell line. viability declined 26.53 % in treated cells µg/mL. In conclusion, our findings demonstrate simplicity efficiency synthesizing Curcuma longa eco-friendly manner potential.
