Abstract This review article compiled the progress in use of bismuth (Bi) and antimony (Sb) halide perovskite materials for lead‐free solar cells (LF‐PSCs). The Bi/Sb‐based exhibit excellent stability ambient conditions with decent optical properties. absorber have been extensively used development LF‐PSCs. Unfortunately, these LF‐PSCs are suffering from low efficiencies. In recent years, cell capacitance simulation software (SCAPS‐1D) has utilized theoretical studies. SCAPS‐1D‐based studies suggested that efficiency can be enhanced by optimizing thicknesses different components other parameters, such as defect density, temperature, electron or hole transport materials. experimental showed Bi‐ Sb‐based exhibited poor PCE research laboratories.
