Effective decision-making in complex environments often requires handling fuzzy data with interdependencies. The generalized Heronian mean and geometric operators have proven useful for such analysis. However, existing methods struggle to capture correlations among pq-quasi rung orthopair (pqQROF) numbers. This study addresses this gap by extending these the pqQROF setting developing a novel hybrid framework. proposed framework integrates distance measure, rank sum (RS) method, aggregation determine both objective subjective criteria weights. applicability of approach is demonstrated through two case studies: project selection university selection. Abstract Belief and plausibility functions based on evidence theory (ET) have been widely used in managing uncertainty. Various generalizations of ET to fuzzy sets (FSs) reported the literature, but no generalization q-rung orthopair (q-ROFSs) has made yet. Therefore, this paper proposes a novel, simple, intuitive approach distance similarity measures for q-ROFSs belief within framework ET. Linguistic term fuzzy sets provide an intuitive way to express preferences, enhancing understanding and communication among decision-makers. In this article, we introduce the novel concept of p,q-quasirung orthopair linguistic (p,q-QOFLSs), which merge principles (p,q-QOFSs) with sets. This new framework offers a more robust approach handle uncertain imprecise information in decision-making processes, characterized by membership non-membership degrees. We establish several fundamental operational laws, alongside score accuracy functions, facilitate comparison numbers.
