The manufacturing sector can be considered the main driver of economic growth in countries, as demonstrated by macroeconomic variable GDP. However, during pandemic, historical rise exchange rates and increase inflation interest resulted countries’ negative performance. Currently, Colombia ranks last world terms productivity among OECD member countries. This problem is reflected Santander region, where production sales variables have experienced changes, addition to a stagnation employment sector. objective this work design financial composite index measure competitiveness, analyzing its implications for measuring performance capacity execute projects companies.
