Abstract Autoimmune hepatitis (AIH) is an autoimmune disease mediated by abnormal autoimmune. The pathogenesis and pathological manifestation of immune-mediated liver injury, induced concanavalin A (ConA) in mice, closely parallel those observed human AIH. However, the sensitivity stability mice to ConA vary depending on strain sex mice. Therefore, this study aimed compare Balb/c, C57BL/6J, ICR ConA-induced acute injury. In study, group were injected with (15 mg/kg·bw) via tail vein. After 8 h, blood, liver, spleen collected for subsequent analysis. index Balb/c was increased (P < 0.05). Serum alanine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate (AST), lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) levels male C57BL/6J ConA-treated highest among three strains followed female challenge, ICR, (both female) appeared markedly inflammatory cell infiltration hepatocyte necrosis. Furthermore, hemorrhagic necrosis more severe females than males. Lastly, had lowest coefficient variation serum ALT, AST, LDH activities, while minimum index, suggesting that they have good ConA. Altogether, our found high which suitable mimicking pathology AIH humans.
