Seasonal migration is highly labile from an evolutionary perspective and known to rapidly evolve in response selective pressures. However, long‐distance migratory birds rely partially on innate genetic programs may be constrained their ability alter behavior. We take advantage of recent advances our genotype historical DNA samples examine the temporal stability connections between breeding nonbreeding populations (i.e. connectivity) population‐level distributions Wilson's warbler Cardellina pusilla , a songbird. By assigning contemporary collected across range genetically distinct clusters, we suggest that broad‐scale within this species have remained largely consistent Mexico mid‐1900s present day. These findings support idea migrants remain stable over long time scales, even face rapid environmental change.

Climate change is a significant driver of changes in the distribution patterns species and poses threat to biodiversity, potentially resulting extinctions. Investigating potential rare endangered crucial for understanding their responses climate conservation biodiversity ecosystem management. The Szechwan rat snake (Euprepiophis perlacea) an endemic co-distributed with giant pandas, studying its contributes better pattern species. In this study, we confirmed seven presence points Yingjing Area Giant Panda National Park, selected eleven key factors predict E. perlacea under current future scenarios using MaxEnt models. Our study consistently achieved AUC values exceeding 0.79, meeting precision requirements results indicated that high area mainly located near Yunwu mountain panda rewilding reintroduction base, accounting approximately 12% protected area. Moreover, identified primary environmental influencing as distance from streams slope degree, contribution rates 41% 31%, respectively. comparison scenario, habitat range did not show overall reduction context scenarios. To ensure long-term preservation perlacea, it advisable validate actual based on models' results. Particular attention should be given safeguarding core areas raising awareness among residents within about perlacea.
