The purpose of the article was to conduct an in-depth literature review on possibilities managing combustion by-products (mainly fly ash) in context a closed-loop economy. First, information chemical composition ash Poland collected and compared with other European countries. authors concentrated describing methods for synthesizing geopolymers zeolites using as substrate. By-products zeolite synthesis, which are strongly alkaline solutions, can be used substrate synthesis geopolymers. A concept has been proposed combine into single process close material loop. search comprehensive technological solutions that take account ideas economy is essential era resource depletion, this encapsulates topic area.

The high consumption and cost of cement are the bottleneck problems that limit development cemented tailings backfilling technology. low-consumption backfill is immersed in a weak acid/alkaline groundwater environment for long time. Reducing can easily lead to such as sudden decrease strength leakage heavy metals. Through monolithic leaching test static uniaxial compressive tests, metals’ concentration backfills different pH soaking solutions were measured at times. Results show lower will result CTB higher rate metal leaching. Long-term exposure an acidic/alkaline instability destruction structure. A microscopic examination reveals creation hydration products improve structure’s compactness while also lowering internal porosity but solidify ions various ways. first-order reaction/diffusion model (FRDM) better evaluate behavior CTB. This study helps technology, thereby contributing sustainable mining geotechnologies.

To effectively utilize the solid waste-soda residue (SR) and fly ash (FA), a mixture of 70% SR, 20% FA, 10% clay was formed to produce soda soil (SRS). By adding cement and/or lime, four different SRS proportions were prepared. The compaction properties, mechanical dry–wet stability. Furthermore, mechanisms explored, improvement effect efficiency lime on performance analyzed. results show that is lightweight easy compact shape, which conducive construction. Compared cement, has greater impat properties SRS. are enhanced after lime; unconfined compressive strength (UCS), California Bearing Ratio (CBR), resilient modulus all increase significantly. UCS, CBR, with degree; CBR can meet requirements subgrade, UCS base sub-base. contribution rate per unit amount better than As cycles increase, stability first increases then decreases, affected by hydration deterioration together, critical cycle number for transition. excellent benefits from gradation chemical action. particles complement each other perform an interlocking Therefore, good forms dense stable structure. Also, reactions between materials very important. have gelling effect, FA participate in pozzolanic reactions, SR certain alkali-activated effects.
