A promising solution to decarbonize steel construction is reusing structural components from existing disassembled structures as it avoids sourcing raw material, the heating associated with recycling, and reduces amount of waste demolition. However, barriers increasing use reused in modern include concerns about an increased length demolition process dramatic changes requires design task. To simultaneously alleviate these concerns, this work presents a new stock-constrained optimization framework for designing planar truss stock library partially trusses. Providing safe, environmentally conscious, and cost-effective designs is the primary duty of civil engineers. To this end, many different algorithms methods have been developed in parallel with progress digital technologies over past decades. Techniques such as AI-based Metaheuristic Algorithms (MAs), Reliability Analysis, Building Information Modelling (BIM) are some those that serve purpose. The present study focuses on establishing a design optimization methodology by implementing techniques open literature one software environment to create robust engineering architectural workflow. involves multiple stages (i) creating parametric trusses employing Visual Programming (VP) Dynamo (Version: 3.0.4); (ii) performing First-order Method (FORM) analysis which includes Finite Element (FEM) Limit State Function (LSF); (iii) MAs achieve optimum variables under uncertain constraints; (iv) testing various real-word examples scenarios; (v) an optimized model Robot Structural Analysis 2024 (RSA) real time purpose further adjustments. results demonstrated workflow utilizing BIM can enhance process easing storing, sharing, data branches capable complicated tasks successfully.

To overcome the mechanical limitations of traditional inertia weight optimization methods, this study draws inspiration from machine learning models and proposes an strategy based on K-nearest neighbors (KNN) principle with dynamic adjustment properties.
