This report, issued by the ACVIM Specialty of Cardiology consensus panel, revises guidelines for diagnosis and treatment myxomatous mitral valve disease (MMVD, also known as endocardiosis degenerative or chronic valvular heart disease) in dogs, originally published 2009.
