Abstract Yes‐associated protein (YAP), a pivotal of the Hippo signaling pathway, plays crucial role in regulating cell proliferation and differentiation. Emerging evidence highlights its significance respiratory inflammatory disorders, including chronic rhinosinusitis, allergic rhinitis. This review delves into impact YAP on individuals affected by these ailments, with specific focus it nasal mucosal epithelial cells. We further explore interplay between mediators, outlining pathological mechanisms through which contributes to tissue restructuring contexts. Despite advancements, gaps persist understanding YAP's broader clinical applications. Future research directions are proposed this article bridge knowledge gaps.

Immune response, inflammation, and lipid metabolism have important effects on cancer development progression. Several proteins in tumoral cells and/or tumor microenvironment are involved any of these processes, whereas some them participate all three, such as the zinc finger E-box-binding homeobox 1 (ZEB1) protein. This protein has been proposed to an role invasion metastasis cells, well be malignant transformation resistance treatments. So, this study, we present participation ZEB1 immune, inflammatory, membrane remodeling (lipid metabolism) its interaction with that them. Due importance progression, it may a potential biomarker prognosis target for new therapies.

Abstract Chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps (CRSwNP) is characterized by dysbiosis of microbiota and dysregulation the immune system. Macrophages are essential for protecting against infections, but their roles mechanisms in CRSwNP not fully understood. To date, we gradually recognize heterogeneity macrophages, new subsets macrophages have been identified at transcriptional level due to development single cell RNA‐sequencing. In this review, summarize generation, polarization, phenotype identification, function CRSwNP, providing a comprehensive understanding CRSwNP. Additionally, also explore how interact other cells, including epithelial neurons, which can worsen inflammation. A better role could improve ability clear bacteria reduce chronic inflammation might be clinically beneficial patients.

IL-4 and IL-13 have non-redundant effects in olfaction, with loss of smell mice evoked only by intranasal administration IL-4, but not IL-13. IL-4-evoked pathophysiological on olfaction is independent compromised structural integrity the olfactory neuroepithelium. IL-4-IL-4Rα signaling modulates neuronal crosstalk immune cells, suggesting a functional link between impairment neuroinflammation.
