Abstract Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) Arboretum is a green space established for conservation and educational purposes. Over time, the USU arboretum became complex ecosystem with various species appearing in it, one of which Araceae family. The aim research to investigate diversity at Arboretum. To determine abundance Araceae, census was used this study. Eight including Dieffenbachia bowmanii , Alocasia macrorrhizos Amorphophallus paeoniifolius Caladium bicolor Colocasia esculenta Lasia spinosa Syngonium podophyllum Typhonium blumei are found arboretum. With Relative Density (RD) 59.41%, C. that attained highest density. evenness indices were classified as low values obtained respectively 0.75 0.36, while dominance index high (C=0.80).

Forest communities have a rich heritage of gathering, producing, and using non-timber forest products (NTFPs) as food. They maintained transferred traditional knowledge related to NTFPs through their networks over generations. Considering the food value NTFPs, has become an important social asset, its functions in are clearly identifiable. This study systematically analyzed research on food—to demonstrate status trends this regard—using systematic review method topic modeling. We found that studies predominantly focused medicinal plants from Asian African countries effect. Through modeling, keywords were classified into six topics—namely, ethnomedicinal practices, biodiversity, measurement, community security, traditionality, culture. study's findings indicate three key messages—specifically, dominance foods, methodological gap research, contribution ecosystem services sustainability.
