Food security for a country is very important, especially with large population like Indonesia. However, Indonesia still faced the problem of farmer welfare, most whom are poor or low-income, which only around 30% total family income and decrease in agricultural production productivity. This study was conducted aim determining effect welfare levels on food uses quantitative analysis methods cross-sectional data to determine main objectives study. Data were collected using questionnaires through face-to-face interviews from random sample 75 households Java Sulawesi. The results showed that level fairly high category being quite secure. has positive households. shows government policies focus improving status terms health, material wealth, knowledge can improve security.
