This paper presents the development of a framework for parametric design tunnels using geographic information system (GIS) mapping and building modelling (BIM). According to framework, representation each component (e.g., layers rock mass, size excavation, topography, fault geometry, primary lining, secondary bolts, etc.) can be incorporated in GIS model with high levels detail used automatic generation numerical models tunnel construction. evaluation allows designer consider several component, efficient process optimization conventional tunneling. Information between analysis simulations freely exchanged significantly reduced computational effort while results exported into BIM. It is anticipated that proposed could lead comprehensive, yet complex tunneling project evaluations at early stages.

The rapid urbanization of Abha and its surrounding cities in Saudi Arabia’s mountainous regions poses challenges for sustainable secure development. This study aimed to identify suitable sites eco-friendly safe building complexes amidst complex geophysical, geoecological, socio-economic factors, integrating natural hazards assessment risk management. Employing the Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (Fuzzy-AHP), constructed a suitability model incorporating sixteen parameters. Additionally, Deep Neural Network (DNN) based on eXplainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI) conducted sensitivity analyses assess parameters’ influence optimal location decision making. results reveal slope as most crucial parameter (22.90%), followed by altitude land use/land cover (13.24%), emphasizing topography environmental considerations. Drainage density (11.36%) rainfall patterns (9.15%) are also significant flood defense water Only 12.21% area is deemed “highly suitable”, with “no-build zones” designated safety protection. DNN-based XAI demonstrates positive impact variables like NDVI municipal solid waste generation site selection, informing management ecological preservation strategies. integrated methodology provides actionable insights residential development Abha, aiding informed making balancing urban expansion conservation hazard reduction.

Reconstructing 3D models from a single image remains challenges in computer graphics and vision, especially when dealing with free-hand sketches. Fragmented strokes distorted lines often introduce ambiguities, leading to that deviate the intended shape. Moreover, variations sketching styles frequently result incomplete object representations. To address above challenges, we present sketch-orientated Autoencoder SkFC-AE for high-quality voxelized model reconstruction. Our approach features Dual-space Feature Encoding mechanism, which extracts sketch semantics both space geometric using Local Image Encoder (LIE), Global (GIE) Points (GPE) respectively. To explore details common appearance of sketches, two additional modules Fusion Module (FFM) Complement (FCM) are proposed fuse create detailed embeddings complement them derived prior.Extensive experiments on public sketch-to-voxel benchmarks, i.e., Sketch-Voxel ShapeNet ModelNet-Canny, demonstrate our significantly outperforms state-of-the-art terms reconstruction quality detail preservation.
