This study focused on the nematicidal potential of sea urchin-like zinc oxide nanometrics (SUZN) against root-knot nematode Meloidogyne incognita. XRD, SEM, UV-vis spectroscopy, TEM, and EDX have been utilized to characterize SUZN. Various SUZN concentrations (150–750 ppm) were examined for their implications M. incognita second-stage juveniles (J2s) egg masses, including mortality as well hatching inhibition. The largest J2s inhibition (83.07%) was seen at 750 ppm after 48 hours incubation, whereas lowest occurred 150 when compared control. illustrated increased efficiency with increasing concentration incubation duration. LC50 values calculated various time points. In root-dip trials, all doses substantially reduced penetration into eggplant roots relative untreated emphasizes SUZN's strong activity incognita, suggesting its promise a long-term alternative chemical nematicides management while reducing environmental concerns associated traditional pesticides.
