Abstract Graphitic carbon nitride (g‐C 3 N 4 ) has witnessed tremendous research interest due to its narrow bandgap, intrinsic 2D structure, and abundant raw materials. Perovskites are bringing revolutionization in a various fields due to their exceptional properties and crystalline structure. Most specifically, halide perovskites (HPs), lead-free (LFHPs), perovskite quantum dots (HPs QDs) becoming hotspots unique optoelectronic properties, low cost, simple processing. HPs QDs, particular, have excellent photovoltaic applications because of tunable emission, high photoluminescence yield (PLQY), effective charge separation, cost. Semiconductor materials based on bismuth metal have been extensively explored for their potential in photocatalytic applications owing to distinctive crystal structure. Herein, we present the development of a hybrid photocatalyst, CAU-17/BiOCl, featuring flower-like nanosheet morphology tailored degradation organic contaminants such as rhodamine B (RhB) and tetracycline hydrochloride (TCH).
