The rapid and effective removal of pharmaceuticals personal care products (PPCPs) from groundwater is challenging. In this paper, porous cyano group-rich g-C3N4 catalysts were prepared by urea (U) a KOH-assisted thermal polymerization strategy. thickness, active sites, pores successfully modulated polymerization. addition, the charge separation efficiency was effectively improved above methods. We combine photocatalyst with peroxymonosulfate (PMS) to achieve efficient degradation performance ibuprofen. Meanwhile, we also explored reaction mechanism in photocatalytically coupled persulfate system, which illustrated roles singlet oxygen holes system degrading pollutants. Our work demonstrates that an advanced technology necessary for deep treatment PPCPs suggests feasible strategy catalyst modulation.
