The ecological impact linked to hydraulic fracturing, namely with the usage of water and energy-intensive disposal flowback fluids, has led a thorough evaluation alternative treatment approaches that are more environmentally friendly. objective this work was create coralline-like anatase TiO2/α-Ni(OH)2 particles using hydrothermal approach. purpose improve efficiency photocatalysis by increasing number oxygen vacancies. An ozone-assisted photocatalytic reaction used increase composite photocatalyst’s degrading for fracturing fluid. fluid’s chemical demand (COD) degradation greatly increased following introduction synergistic system consisting sedimentation, membrane separation, ozone photocatalysis. This improvement reduction 98.42% during processing time 90 min, Ti/Ni mass ratio 1:1. collaborative method partially replaced traditional methods evaporation concentration electrochemical degradation, resulting in 24.18% enhancement compared individual material catalyst systems. These findings provide crucial insights improving optimizing external techniques shale gas operations.
