Energy scarcity and atmospheric pollution (NOx) are key challenges in current energy environmental management. Photocatalysis provides a sustainable solution, but it is often limited by the high recombination rate of photogenerated carriers photocatalysts. In this study, series NH2-MIL-125 (NM-125) with different ligand defect contents were constructed adjusting concentration alkaline to achieve photocatalytic hydrogen production NO removal efficiency. Compared original NM-125, defective NM-125 exhibits superior activity, maximum efficiency 3.73mmol• g-1• h-1 highest 61.6%. These all attributed unsaturated metal active sites generated defects which significantly enhances migration charge carriers. This study an innovative approach improve MOFs materials via constructing defects.
