The Taraba Sound is situated north of the Strait Magellan within Chilean fjord and channel system. In this inlet, samples were collected at three beach levels (supralittoral, mesolittoral infralittoral) along four transects perpendicular to coastline. A total 2,754 specimens identified, representing seven phyla 24 operational taxonomic units (OTUs). dominant components across beaches bivalves crustaceans, with Choromytilus chorus Paramoera cf. fissicauda contributing significantly zone similarity. Beaches 2 4, located adjacent river mouths, had lower salinity consequently species richness, abundance, diversity evenness, particularly in supra- zones where freshwater influence more pronounced. Our study represents first comprehensive characterisation intertidal benthic invertebrate biodiversity region. Its findings provide valuable baseline data for future research, especially considering anticipated increase aquaculture concession applications establishment offshore sea farming centres
