Anxiety and depression are prevalent in young people. Web-based mental health interventions (W-MHIs) have the potential to reduce anxiety depression, yet level of engagement remains low. This study aims elicit people's preferences towards W-MHIs relative importance intervention attributes influencing choice. A discrete choice experiment (DCE) was conducted online among people aged 18–25 years who lived Australia, self-reported experiences and/or past 12 months had an intention use previous experience with for managing depression. Participants were recruited via social media Deakin University notice boards. The DCE design comprised six attributes, including out-of-pocket cost, access trained instructors (e.g., therapists, coaches) help users stay engaged intervention, total time required complete initial screening, quizzes within check user's understanding about content, communication other users. consisted three blocks, each eight unlabelled tasks, two alternatives. Data analysed using a mixed logit model. One hundred ninety-nine participants completed (mean age: 21.43 ± 2.29 years, 64.32% female). Lower instructors, moderate (5 h) significant facilitators. audio- or video-call 23 percentage points more likely be chosen than those without W-MHI completion 18 one shorter (2 h). Our results highlight that low-cost could increase uptake. More research is confirm these findings examine whether vary across different population characteristics.
