Introduction Parasitic diseases pose a significant global public health challenge, affecting billions of people and causing substantial economic losses in livestock poultry. In the fight against these infections, neutrophils play crucial role, employing various strategies, including release neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs). Recent studies have made progress understanding NETs triggered by protozoa helminths. However, comprehensive bibliometric analysis that compiles findings identifies research hotspots trends this field is still lacking.
