Cu-ZSM-5 zeolites exhibit promising NH3-SCR activity in a wide temperature window. The current challenges preparing are reducing the cost and simplifying preparation process. one-pot method using Cu-amine complex as template is an excellent strategy for solving above problems. However, still lacking Cu-ZSM-5. In this work, Cu-(EDA)2 developed to prepare Cu-ZSM-5-O catalyst. According fundamental measurements, high dispersion of copper(II) species, appropriate acidity, Cu+ species favor reaction. Among catalysts, Cu1.8-ZSM-5-O shows performance at low temperatures (NO conversion about 87.5% 150 °C N2 selectivity 95% over entire window). boosting catalysts probably assigned abundant [Cu(OH)]+ amounts Cu-ZSM-5-O. Moreover, variable-temperature EPR subsequent computer simulation used first quantify content mechanism (150 °C) on also investigated by situ DRIFT spectra DFT calculations, which mainly follow Eley–Rideal route. A complete catalytic cycle SCR reaction was proposed based calculations. Our results suggest that contribute adsorption activation NH3, thus performance.
