Background Examining mental health among nurses in the later stages of COVID-19 pandemic could offer valuable information for addressing these symptoms long term. Therefore, current study aimed to assess and well-being Chinese nurses, as well investigate impact psychological flexibility night shifts on this relationship. Method In cross-sectional, hospital-based, multicenter study, 422 were selected by multistage stratified cluster random sampling. The status, flexibility, wellbeing assessed via 12-item General Health Questionnaire (GHQ-12), version Personalized Psychological Flexibility Index, 5-item WHO Well-Being respectively. To examine proposed theoretical model, we conducted structural equation modeling using SPSS Amos 26 version. age, gender, shift, health, data entered into model. Pearson correlation chi-square used explore between variables. Results high shifts, being young low significantly had a direct effect worse (night shifts: ES, 95% CI: 0.619, 0.328–0.725; age: 0.542, 0.226–0.993; flexibility: 0.675, 0.369–1.466). able directly (psychological 0.419, 0.757–1.519; health: 0.719, 1.109–2.607). addition, through mediation also an indirect (ES, 0.269, 0.957–2.165). Conclusions Being young, having more less can be related deterioration nurses. it is recommended that use shift routine program with least focus shifts. Also, interventions teach younger how face work stress improve all are needed.

Abstract Due to the limitations of existing measurements experiential avoidance, we would like check validity improved version Acceptance and Action Questionnaire–II (AAQ-II), i.e., Questionnaire–3 (AAQ-3), in Chinese content. The present study was aim examine construct AAQ-3 college students provide an initial validation this instrument promote future cross-cultural examination psychological flexibility. Totally 1,572 were invited complete related questionnaires at same time. After one month, 380 participates assessed with test-retest reliability. results indicated a similar one-factor solution original by exploratory factor analysis, parallel analysis confirmatory analysis. Internal consistency test–retest reliability good. According testing measurement invariance, model acceptable across gender (Man = 875, Girl 697). Additionally, significantly negatively correlated positive mental health (life satisfaction, mindful attention awareness), positively negative emotions (depression, anxiety, stress), AAQ–II Brief Experiential Avoidance Questionnaire (BEAQ). Besides, strongest predictor depression, stress life satisfaction compared AAQ-II BEAQ. However, according structural equation model, demonstrated excellent discriminate from emotions. Overall, modified avoidance (i.e., BEAQ) as it showed better convergent indicators, discriminant emotions, higher incremental validity. Therefore, is valid tool for assessing level or flexibility students.

Abstract Background Experiential avoidance represents the tendency to avoid negative internal experiences, which is a key concept in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. However, existing measures of experiential (i.e., Action Questionnaire–II, AAQ-II) have some limitations. This study aims assess psychometric properties Chinese version Multidimensional Avoidance Questionnaire-30 (MEAQ-30) provide evidence for reliability validity this new instrument. Methods Two questionnaire surveys were conducted. The first sample ( N = 546) was analyzed using classical test theory (CTT), second 511) multidimensional item response (MIRT). Results CTT supported six-factor structure MEAQ-30, indicating good consistency measurement invariance across genders. Furthermore, MEAQ-30 showed satisfactory convergent discriminant validity. incremental that after controlling effects neuroticism AAQ-II, could still significantly predict depression, anxiety, stress. MIRT indicated 30 items had discrimination difficulty, six subscales sufficiently reliable continuum avoidance. Conclusion has suitable assessing among populations.
