Since the last decades, light has been shed on pollution of aquatic ecosystems. Considering apolar compounds in water, analysis dissolved phase is not sufficient due to their possible bioaccumulation. Additional sediments, biota, or sentinel species necessary. Among species, Gammarus fossarum a small shrimp 30 mg that lives naturally river. Its ability bioaccumulate makes it good bioindicator river pollution. Nevertheless, micropollutants are difficult extract from gammarids size and high level lipids. Extracted interferences can lead analytical difficulties. Targeted this work were organotins, personal pharmaceutical care products (PPCPs), pesticides, flame retardants, perfluorinated compounds. A sample preparation based QuEChERS followed by liquid chromatography coupled tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) was developed: different salts (acetate citrate) purification (addition hexane, dispersive SPE) tested validated. molecules used be analyzed LC-MS/MS, except organotins which principally gas chromatography. One main challenges quantify them also LC-MS/MS implement an original multi-residue method. The 40 finally validated according ICH guidelines, with LOQs ranging 0.04 ng.g−1 313.5 ng.g−1. Regarding Perfluorooctanesulfonic acid (PFOS) sum hexabromocyclododecane, reached environmental quality standards biota respectively 9.1 167 Finally, method applied 15 real samples. Many quantified: compounds, drugs such as ketoprofen, even cosmetics octocrylene. This first study many emerging especially G. fossarum.

Rationale Pesticide isomers are widely available in agricultural production and may vary biological activity, potency, toxicity. Chromatographic mass spectrometric analysis of pesticide is challenging due to structural similarities. Methods Based on liquid chromatography time‐of‐flight spectrometry, identification cis – trans isomeric pesticides was achieved through retention time, characteristic fragment ions, relative abundance ratio. Furthermore, theoretical basic research has been conducted the differences ions their ratios isomers. On one hand, cleavage pathways six were elucidated collision‐induced dissociation explain different other for those with same but ratios, energy‐resolved spectrometry combined computational chemical density functional theory terms kinetics, thermodynamics, bond lengths employed reasons ratios. Results A high‐resolution method developed separation traditional Chinese medicine Radix Codonopsis , distinguished by product The limits quantification up 10 μg/kg, linear ranges them 10–200 coefficients determination ( R 2 ) > 0.99, which demonstrated good linearity pesticides. recoveries at spiked concentrations 10, 20, 100 μg/kg reached 70–120% standard deviations ≤20%. Conclusions It that application well suited accurate qualitative quantitative structures, could avoid false‐negative results caused ignoring effectively.

In this study, an effective analytical approach based on targeting of 10 mid-polar pesticides residues from vegetables and biological samples using Fe3O4@SiO2-NH2 nanoparticles established by the three-step synthesis method detected UPLC-QTOF-MS was proposed. were characterized a size 12–13 nm, magnetic saturation 40 emu/g, sufficient NH2 groups coupled to surface. Using Fe3O4@SiO2-NH2, dispersive solid phase extraction (MDSPE) for 500 μL (pH 7.1) vibration with 30 mg during min. This demonstrated good recoveries (72.3–113.3%) RSDs 0.0–6.6%, linearity ranging 0.01 ng/mL R2 values 0.9945–0.9999, LODs 0.08 analysis. The proposed successfully applied detect trace-level pesticide in real samples, such as chives, cabbage, rat serum.
