Herein, we aimed provide comprehensive overview recent published research papers regarding removal antibiotics composite-based adsorbents. structure, ionic form, optimum pH λmax most common including Tetracycline, Ciprofloxacin, Amoxicillin, Levofloxacin, Ceftriaxone, Erythromycin, Norfloxacin, Ofloxacin, Doxycycline, Cefotaxime Sulfamethoxazole were summarized. development adsorbents order enhance their adsorption capacity, reusability validity presented. Moreover, mechanisms these explored more information about adsorbate-adsorbent interactions. Besides dominant factors on process pH, dosage, coexisting ions, etc. discussed. conclusions future recommendations provided inspire for further researches.
