Piezocatalysis offers a facile method for H2O2 production with the ability to obtain desired product under clean and safe conditions. In this study, an efficient ternary n-n type van der Waals (vdW) heterojunction piezocatalyst Bi/Bi4Ti3O12/g-C3N4 (BBC) was fabricated by hydrothermal method, leading in situ reduction of metallic Bi formation heterojunction. The piezocatalytic activity BBC nanocomposite (10.5 mmol g–1 h–1) is significantly enhanced synergistic effect g-C3N4, exceeding that pure BTO g-C3N4 factors 2.19 1.98, respectively. piezoelectric catalytic mechanism demonstrates boosted performance novel could be attributed unique structure strengthened internal electric fields formed vdW improved charge separation efficiency. This work presents effective strategy fabricate nanocomposites capable converting mechanical energy into chemical energy.
