In this work, AgBr/Ti3C2@TiO2 ternary composite photocatalyst was prepared by a solvothermal and precipitation method with the aims of introducing Ti3C2 as cocatalyst TiO2 compositing semiconductor. The crystal structure, morphology, elemental state, functional groups photoelectrochemical properties were studied XRD, SEM, TEM, XPS, FI-IR EIS. photocatalytic performances composites investigated photodehydrogenation diethyl 1,4-dihydro-2,6-dimethyl-3,5-pyridinedicarboxylate (1,4-DHP) photodegradation tetracycline hydrochloride (TCH) under visible light irradiation (λ > 400 nm). showed enhanced performance in both reactions. activity is dependent on proportional content Ti3C2@TiO2. With optimized Ti3C2@TiO2 proportion, ability 24.5 times high that for 1,4-DHP 1.9 pure AgBr TCH. should be due to formation p-n heterojunction structure between excellent electronic Ti3C2, which absorption capacity, lowered internal resistance, speeded up charge transfer reduced recombination efficiency photo-generated carriers. Mechanism studies superoxide free radical (˙O2-) main active species. addition, also displayed good stability, indicating its reutilization practical application.
