In this work, a molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP)-based photoelectrochemical (PEC) sensor for the detection of ciprofloxacin (CIP) was constructed. Carbon-modified ZnO (ZnO/C) nanocomposite with adjustable zinc content prepared by carbonaceous method, facilitating visible light absorption and electron transition. The structure, morphology, surface chemistry ZnO/C were well characterized. MIP membrane formed electropolymerizing, nanocomposite, o-phenylenediamine (C6H4(NH3)2,o-PD), CIP as highly efficient photoactive materials, functional monomer, template, respectively. PEC properties different electrodes measured analyzed. MIP-based showed excellent sensitivity selectivity towards CIP, displaying broad linear range from 0.01 nM to 1000 nM, low limit 8.41 pM, satisfied recovery rates within 96.8%103.2%. exhibited reliable reproducibility stability, relative standard deviation (RSD) 2.48% in milk. constructed not only provides powerful route but also can be extended detect other antibiotics food natural environment.
