Abstract Theranostics based on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and photothermal therapy can provide high‐resolution with the minimum side effect of cancer treatment. In this research, polydopamine nanoparticles (PDA‐NPs) are synthesized functionalized hyaluronic acid (HA) as a cancer‐targeting theranostics agent. The synthesis PDA‐NPs an average size 25 nm is confirmed by field emission scanning electron microscope, functionalization HA ultraviolet–visible spectroscopy Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. highest longitudinal relaxation rate ( r 1) observed at Fe to PDA weight ratio 0.25 MRI analysis. MTT results confirm that PDA/HA‐NPs ion concentration 6 μg mL −1 not toxic (cell viability, 80%–95%). result immunocytochemistry analysis shows binding 78% human bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells CD44 antigens. Finally, irradiated 808 laser investigate their property. specific absorption 0.4 mg iron determined 107.95 W g when 500 mW cm −2 power density.

The treatment of microbial infections is hampered by the development resistance microbes to antimicrobial drugs. To overcome drug resistance, delivery systems have been widely developed and studied. Injectable gels are that exhibit a sol–gel transition under mild conditions. They offer several advantages, such as enhanced patient compliance, ease application, prolonged delivery, flexibility, overcoming side effects common with systemic promoting localized for site-specific action, controlled kinetics, periods, etc. Several research reports revealed promising results require further studies. also explored infections, osteomyelitis, uveitis, cytomegalovirus retinitis, transplant orthopaedic postoperative HIV, meningitis, HPV, sepsis, dental acute bacterial rhinosinusitis, infected irregular tubular fistula in anus muscle, candidiasis, therapeutic efficacy reported injectable reveals there still crucial need them be investigated. However, it important highlight few on their applications fungal infections. This chapter comprehensive biomedical
