Conjugated
microporous
polymers
(CMPs),
featuring
photoactive
structures,
a
high
surface
area,
robust
thermal
stability,
and
facile
modulation,
provide
versatile
platform
for
fabricating
diverse
heterogeneous
photocatalysts.
The
incorporation
of
donor–acceptor
(D–A)
structures
into
CMPs
to
increase
their
charge
separation
potential
enhance
the
photocatalytic
efficacy
is
viable
strategy.
In
this
work,
we
designed
synthesized
unique
set
D–A
monomers,
incorporating
boranil
dyes
as
electron-deficient
moieties
carbazoles
electron-rich
subunits.
Subsequently,
were
prepared
via
an
economical
environmentally
friendly
oxidation
coupling
reaction,
in
reactions
was
investigated.
Modulation
polymer's
photoelectronic
properties
performance
can
be
achieved
by
adjusting
content
monomer.
polymer
pCZFB-3,
with
highest
units,
exhibited
optimal
activity.
This
finding
confirms
that
strengthening
effect
significantly
catalyst's
catalytic
efficacy.
study
presents
insights
designing
innovative
photocatalysts
based
on
boron-containing
dyes.
