Due to their good wearability, smart fabrics have gradually developed into one of the important components multifunctional flexible electronics. Nevertheless, function integration is typically accomplished through intricate stacking diverse modules, which inevitably compromises comfort and elevates processing complexities. The these discrete functional modules a unified design for represents superior solution. Here, we put forward rational approach typical challenges thermal management, energy supply, surface contamination in fabrics. This sandwich-structured multilayer fabric (MLF) obtained by continuous electrospinning two layer P(VDF-HFP) functionalized with core–shell SiO2/ZnO/ZIF-8 (SZZ) nanoparticles. Specifically, MLFs achieve effective stable harvesting triboelectric nanogenerators (TENGs) hydrophobicity antibacterial properties. Meanwhile, also high mid-infrared emissivity sunlight reflectivity, successfully realizing radiative cooling under different climates, been applied wearing clothing, roof shading, car covers. work may contribute manufacturing next-generation wearable electronics, particularly terms devices.

Antibiotic resistance is a growing global threat due to antibiotic overuse and limited treatment options. Multidrug-resistant bacteria, like Staphylococcus aureus Escherichia coli, increase infection complexity mortality. This study explores nanocomposite films of ZIF-8 nanoparticles Doxycycline (Dox) enhance antibacterial efficacy. In this study, composed chitosan (CS) polyethylene glycol (PEG), incorporating zeolitic imidazolate framework-8 (ZIF-8) DOX, were developed. These characterized by their morphological, mechanical, antibacterial, drug-release properties. Antibacterial efficacy was evaluated using disk diffusion, broth microdilution, checkerboard assay methods determine MICs potential synergistic effects. The demonstrated flexibility, semi-transparency, yellowish-brown hue, with containing being thicker (79 ± 0.2 μm) than those without (54 0.5 μm). tensile strength enhanced the incorporation ZIF-8, peaking at 53.12 MPa for CS-PEG-G-10% DOX-4% film. XRD analysis confirmed crystallinity distinct peaks observed each material. drug release studies revealed an initial burst followed sustained release, higher rates in acidic environments compared neutral alkaline media. film significantly activity, achieving lowest MIC values, particularly against S. (22.5 mm inhibition zone) E. coli (14 zone). Additionally, notable effect between DOX FICI values below 0.5. exhibits optimal properties, positioning it as strong candidate developing effective treatments multidrug-resistant pathogens.

Abstract The skin is the largest organ of human body, protecting it from external environment and pathogens minimizing risk injury. Hydrogels have attracted a lot interest lately because their biomimetic structure inherent extracellular matrix characteristics. hold great promise for application in wound healing, mainly they can very conveniently provide bioactive ingredients. In this work, composite hydrogels were developed healing carrageenan, polyvinyl alcohol, carboxymethyl chitosan by blending method. These characterized advanced techniques such as FTIR, XRD, DSC, SEM-EDX, which used to study structural, thermal, surface morphology, elemental behavior. Their physiochemical analyses performed using swelling degradation, water contact angle, gel fraction. increasing ZiF-8 causes more roughness, with decreased different media (Aqueous>PBS>NaCl). amount less hydrophilic behavior biodegradation cytocompatibility ZiF-8-based potential antibacterial activities against Gram-positive Gram-negative, enhanced ZiF-8. caused cell viability proliferation proper morphology vivo healing. Hence, results show that synthesized may be candidate numerous repair applications.

Bacterial infections and antibiotic resistance are global health problems, current treatments for bacterial still rely on the use of antibiotics. Phototherapy based a photosensitizer has high efficiency, broad spectrum, strong selectivity, does not easily induce drug resistance, is expected to become an effective strategy treatment infections, particularly drug-resistant infections. This article reviews antimicrobial strategies phototherapy photosensitizers, including photodynamic therapy (PDT), photothermal (PTT), their combination. These methods have significant application potential in combating multi-drug-resistant biofilm providing alternative traditional antibiotics chemical antibacterial agents.
