Received: 9 January 2025; Revised: 19 February Accepted: 21 Published: 28 2025 Abstract: photonic crystal (LPC) is a promising new material in the field sensing, display, printing, coating due its unique fluidity, metastability, reversibility colloidal assembly. However, it big challenge prepare LPC materials an efficient, controllable, eco-friendly way. In work, electrically-driven colloid concentration process was developed for efficient synthesis LPC. The key that electrophoretic produced locally concentrated but “agglomeration-free” solution, which spontaneously turned after being kept standing few minutes. possessed good universality reproducibility LPCs composed different particles solvents. Its efficiency could be improved tuning particles’ surface charge, dielectric constant viscosity solvent, as well external conditions. More importantly, into large-scale green without chemical wastes compared previous synthetic methods.
