The Gross Ecosystem Product (GEP) is an important way to assess the state of ecosystem and clarify coupling coordination between economic system, which can be a scientific basis for achieving synergistic development society ecological civilization. In this paper, 11 prefectural cities in Jiangxi Province are taken as research areas. Based on data land use, normalized difference vegetation index, net primary productivity, soil, meteorology, elevation statistics, study accounts GEP 2010 2020 based biophysical model, analyzes changes its ecosystem’s state. obtained from Statistical Yearbook, regional index system was established; levels economy were measured with help entropy-weight-TOPSIS method, interaction mechanism dynamics them explored degree model. It found that during 2010–2020, increased by 0.35%, value material goods cultural services 49.57% 414.03%, respectively, but regulating decreased 9.89%; main coupled coordinated characteristics developed basic coordination-economic lagging moderate coordination-ecological lagging, continues improve, gross product lags behind level development.

Understanding the coordinative relationship between urbanization and ecosystem services (ESs) has a great significance in sustainable development urban agglomeration. In this paper, InVEST model was firstly used to assess spatio-temporal evaluation of four types ESs (water yield, carbon storage, soil retention nitrogen export) Yangtze River Delta Urban Agglomerations (YRDUA) China from 2000 2020. Then comprehensive index system established multi-dimensions economy, population land analyze level during study period. Finally, service (CES) developed explore by using coupling coordinating degree (CCDM). The results revealed that: 1) Urbanization led greatly use/ cover change, which caused degradation storage water purification, improvement yield retention. higher export mainly clustered around areas, while were distributed forest-rich cities Zhejiang southern Anhui. There positive correlations different ESs. And CES YRDUA had deteriorated 2) levels almost all showed an overall upward trend, with Shanghai highest urbanization, followed Nanjing Hangzhou, rapid expansion occurred areas. 3) always mild incoordination, showing obvious spatial distribution pattern "higher south, but lower north". most north not achieved coordination development, state moderate or south attained primary even superior coordination. Therefore, our suggested that differentiated space management control policies should be made for improve urbanization.

Ecological compensation is an effective way to harmonize the conflict between exploitation and protection of ecosystem. Xin 'an River Basin, as first pilot project in China carry out horizontal ecological for upstream downstream river basins, has been continuously exploring path mode past ten years. The significance this study systematically evaluate effectiveness from perspective ecosystem service value. It helpful explore more refined implementation methods. provides reference further adjustment development compensation. In paper, we used equivalence factor method construct equivalent factors applicable Xin'an basin against background land use change 2010 2020, evaluated value(ESV) 10 years, analyzed spatial temporal distribution characteristics. was found that (1) ESV showed overall growth trend over decade, increasing by 1.25 billion, with increase 2.84 %. value hydrological regulation function most significant driver. diminishing marginal effects are also shown on time scale. This suggests existing conservation actions becoming less time, there a need appropriate expansion environmental actions, well fine-grained policy implementation. (2) obvious differences distribution. Four districts counties west-central part area trends ESV, while four east-central negative trends. Huangshan District (+160,370.32 million yuan), mainly due watershed region, which led regulating function. came District. closely related water pollution control, protection, ecology restoration Basin promoted (3) effectively ESVs especially watershed-related services. played positive role promoting construction civilization coordinated ecological-social-economic development.. However, not comprehensive, some regions types declining trend, without achieving synergistic balanced development. We give relevant suggestions situation.

Abstract With the continuous development of economy and society, along with sustained population growth, issue water resources carrying capacity in China has attracted increasing attention. This paper constructs a model for evaluating provincial from four dimensions: water, economy, ecology. Utilizing this model, we analyze spatiotemporal variations among 31 provinces 2005 to 2021. Additionally, delve into coupling coordination influencing factors capacity. The study reveals an overall trend China’s index, ecological indicator exhibiting most significant growth while sub-indicator lags behind. There are notable regional differences, higher observed eastern coastal areas relatively lower western regions. criterion becomes core factor constraining 2015, gradually giving way prominence social since 2015. degree is regions, more scattered stable central Based on research findings, series recommendations proposed, including strengthening environmental protection policies, optimizing management mechanisms, improving use efficiency, promoting economic structural diversification. These suggestions aim facilitate sustainable China.
