The Gross Ecosystem Product (GEP) is an important way to assess the state of ecosystem and clarify coupling coordination between economic system, which can be a scientific basis for achieving synergistic development society ecological civilization. In this paper, 11 prefectural cities in Jiangxi Province are taken as research areas. Based on data land use, normalized difference vegetation index, net primary productivity, soil, meteorology, elevation statistics, study accounts GEP 2010 2020 based biophysical model, analyzes changes its ecosystem’s state. obtained from Statistical Yearbook, regional index system was established; levels economy were measured with help entropy-weight-TOPSIS method, interaction mechanism dynamics them explored degree model. It found that during 2010–2020, increased by 0.35%, value material goods cultural services 49.57% 414.03%, respectively, but regulating decreased 9.89%; main coupled coordinated characteristics developed basic coordination-economic lagging moderate coordination-ecological lagging, continues improve, gross product lags behind level development.

This paper aims to explore how develop reasonable ecological compensation standards improve the effectiveness of water diversion projects. Watershed is an important means coordinate watershed protection and development and, additionally, standard accounting core issue compensation. The previous literature has mainly calculated from a single perspective, such as main headwater or receiver areas, meaning interests another under-appreciated area would inevitably be ignored. calculation results different perspectives methods vary greatly, directly affecting implementation mechanisms. In this paper, world’s largest project, Middle Route South-to-North Water Diversion Project, was selected study area. total cost correction model perspective areas. resources input-output areas evaluate criteria compare differences between two models. show that based on source are influenced by construction expenditures industrial opportunity losses in watershed, with higher costs early period but more moderate growth trend later period. increase annual project diversion, low period, faster differ significantly; contribution enrich research cross-basin projects multiple perspectives.

Spatially, ecological infrastructure (EI) is a multi-scale and cross-level network promoting sustainable urban development. Due to the distinct features of different scales, researchers have emphasized importance EI construction, which calls for support from framework scientific evaluation. Thus, based on nature-based solutions (NbS) criteria, this study proposes construction benefits (MECBs-NbS) evaluation with scale differences chooses Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) as case study. The results show that: (1) MECBs-NbS fairly applicable; (2) in 2020, building security patterns at macro-scale (GBA agglomeration) by around 203.63 billion RMB; improving human-nature harmony, ecological, physical, social meso-scale (Huizhou city) were about 358.50 while benefit completing engineering tasks micro-scale (site) was 34.85 million (3) overall, built-up area center, decreased, gradually changed being dominated benefits; (4) supporting status quo analysis before assessment following may not only planning, design management EI, but also serve crucial tool encourage public participation evaluate performance government work. This aims provide new perspective that will improve resilience.

The National Park of Hainan Tropical Rainforest (NPHTR) plays the crucial role an ecological barrier for Island. It also serves as a valuable repository tropical biological heritage world. scientific establishment security pattern (ESP) NPHTR is therefore essential ensuring robustness and stability this regional ecosystem, safeguarding biodiversity, promoting sustainable development. This study integrates ecosystem service functions (ESFs) sensitivity to identify sources (ESs) so that integrity promoted ensured. Ecological corridors (ECs) are established on basis minimum cumulative resistance (MCR) model circuit theory. We integrate ESs, nodes, construct ESP NPHTR. areas extreme importance in account 25.17% 25.47% its overall area, respectively, predominantly situated higher elevations eastern central regions. Further, ESs mainly distributed western region, specifically Ba Wangling (BWL), Jian Fengling (JFL), Ying Geling (YGL), covering area 1624.67 km2 (38.06% total area) After correction, 47 ECs with distance 870.9 km have been established, BWL YGL serving core areas. pinch- points cover 11.49 16.35 km2, primarily consisting man-made landscapes such farmlands buildings. These significantly disturbed by human activities. has “one screen, one district, three belts, multiple points, corridors”. YGL, which contain numerous corridors, functional zones. To ensure horizontal connectivity rare wildlife, Nomascus hainanus Cervus eldii hainanus, should establish buffer or development findings offer insights planning civilization Island, well management other national parks nature reserves.

Understanding the characteristics of urban green-space water consumption is crucial to sustainable development under urbanization and scarcity. However, temporal–spatial driving are still unknown. Characteristics factors in 286 cities China analyzed this study. Results showed that (m3/ha) changed (decreased: 250, increased: 36, p < 0.05) from 2004 2017. The decreased by 57.54% 9,490 m3/ha 4,030 m3/ha. In addition, 44 demonstrate high (>12,570 m3/ha) 74 present low (≤6,380 m3/ha). High aggregated southern northern China, respectively. Urban supply, education, number patents, GDP per capita, temperature, rainfall, park areas significantly increased (p 0.05), while built-ups, green land, built-up coverage rate reduced 0.05). Water recovery price minimally affect but provide new ideas for utilization resources. This study highlights potential subsidies markets urbanization.
