Due to its several powerful characteristics, the Grey Wolf Optimization (GWO) algorithm has recently become widely used in numerous optimization problems. In photovoltaic (PV) systems, power-voltage (P–V) curves present multiple maxima case of partial shadow or modules mismatch which can be viewed as an problem. this paper, a GWO-based maximum power tracking (MPPT) for PV systems operating under shading conditions (PSCs) is proposed. With direct control method, proposed MPPT allows successfully catching global point (GMPP) array uniform and non-uniform solar irradiation. To evaluate effectiveness scheme, co-simulation combining Matlab/Simulink™ Cadence/Pspice™ software environments carried out tested various static dynamic conditions. Furthermore, performance compared with that particle swarm (PSO) classical perturb observe (P&O) based methods transient PSCs also inhomogeneous real Algerian sky. The simulation results have demonstrated satisfactory performances approach terms efficiency speed over other methods.

This research proposes the dandelion optimizer (DO), a bioinspired stochastic optimization technique, as solution for achieving maximum power point tracking (MPPT) in photovoltaic (PV) arrays under partial shading (PS) conditions. In such scenarios, overall output of PV array is adversely affected, with shaded cells generating less and consuming themselves, resulting reduced efficiency local hotspots. While bypass diodes can be employed to mitigate these effects by redirecting current around cells, they may cause multiple peaks, making MPPT challenging. Therefore, metaheuristic algorithms are suggested effectively optimize handle peaks. The DO algorithm draws inspiration from long-distance movement seed, which relies on force wind. By utilizing this approach, successfully capture (MPP) different where traditional often struggle. An essential contribution lies examination performance proposed through simulation real-time hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) results. Comparing state-of-the-art algorithms, including particle swarm (PSO) cuckoo search (CS), outperforms them terms efficiency, duration, tracked. Based HIL results, achieves highest average at 99.60%, surpassing CS 96.46% PSO 94.74%. These findings demonstrate effectiveness enhancing arrays, particularly challenging
