Abstract Food waste is a tremendous systemic challenge, mainly at all stages of consumption and the supply chain process. In recent years, global food challenge has called for new methods to decrease or recover them more valuable materials. Indeed, understanding techniques reducing recovering provides insights into exploring impact recovery on environment. This paper aims review literature in production processes. Hence, we employ bibliometric thematic analysis explore total number 163 scientific articles published between 2000 2021. The present research uses theoretical model circular economy analyse topic both thematically with cluster analysis. results provide significant implications academics practitioners, drawing attention closer relationship people waste, increasing culture value processes from agricultural distribution consumption. Finally, it reiterates need emphasise pollution caused by production.
