Purpose This research aims to investigate the relationship between knowledge capabilities, engagement operational capabilities and sustainable supply chain flexibility in steel production industry. In addition, it seeks understand how these elements contribute toward achieving a net-zero chain, under moderation of industry dynamism. Design/methodology/approach total, 371 people have responded self-administered survey that authors developed. The nonresponse bias analysis was carried out before diving into fundamental assumptions, such as homoscedasticity normality. data's reliability construct validity were assessed by using confirmatory factor analysis. hypothesized conclusions supported subsequent regression outputs, strengthening body existing academic research. Findings research's empirical results highlight positive among particularly influence Information obtained from corroborates findings. Moderation role dynamism capability found significant. Originality/value conceptual framework clarifies capability, dynamic interact. It highlights factors collectively work together attain with environmental impact.

Climate change endangers human survival, causing heat waves, floods, storms, polar ice loss, ocean acidification and rising sea levels. These effects harm the food supply living environments contribute to chronic diseases. agreements like Paris Agreement Kyoto Protocol set net-zero emissions carbon neutrality targets. However, their definitions, differences challenges need clarification. This paper reviews net zero initiatives in chain management. CiteSpace analysis of 61 articles on 44 highlights differences, challenges, practices research gaps. Net-zero cover more greenhouse gases emission stages, fitting management through life-cycle assessment. A perspective strategies bio-based materials, optimised transportation electric vehicles are recommended for effective mitigation. Finally, identifies gaps at global, country, industry company levels, suggesting questions future exploration.

Purpose This study views Net-Zero as a dynamic capability for decarbonising supply chains (SCs). aims to investigate the relationship between three information processing-related capabilities (supply chain visibility [SCV], integration [SCI] and big data analytics [BDA]) its antecedents SC performance competitive advantage outcome. Design/methodology/approach The authors conceptualise research model grounded in literature based on processing views. uses structural equation modelling technique test hypotheses’ using survey from 311 industrial enterprises. Findings results show that SCI BDA positively directly influence (NZC). No significant direct impact is found SCV NZC. fully mediates partially their with also confirm NZC impacts (SCP). Originality/value contributes operations management by extending knowledge about SCs through an empirical investigation. In particular, suggests essential enhance alone does not significantly contribute. documents benefit of SCP, which can encourage more volunteer actions industry.

Manufacturing supply chains (SCs) has received great attention in both academia and industries to improve ecological sustainability achieve net-zero emissions. Governments across the globe are adopting various Carbon Regulatory Policies (CRPs) curb excessive carbon emissions through SCs promote sustainable development. Especially among emerging economies, organizations under immense pressure from consumers stakeholders for a transitional shift towards zero-carbon society. Therefore, this research develops multi-stakeholder framework that identifies evaluates drivers of CRP adoption implementation manufacturing SC elevate sustainability. At first an extensive literature review Delphi method, relevant sub-drivers identified, finalized categorized economic, environmental, social, technical organizational categories. Secondly, fuzzy Best Worst Method (f-BWM) is employed examine relative importance all sub-drivers. Thirdly, Weighted Influence Non-Linear Gauge System (WINGS) method used determine their cause-effect relationships. The proposed illustrated industrial case study considering multiple India. results show availability initial funding, economic benefits, legislative support obtained top three positions priority list, whereas, skill training workers attained least priority. Finally, critical managerial implications deduced based on inter-relationships analysis. analytical can guide managers policy makers identified foster effective implementation.
