The measurement of material, energy, water, and waste flows in organizations represents a key challenge the enhancement circular economy sustainable development. In November 2022, experimental technical standard “Measurement Circularity—Methods Indicators for Measuring Circular Processes Organizations” (UNI/TS 11820:2022) was introduced, which provides, first time, set 71 quantitative, qualitative semi-quantitative indicators assessment levels circularity at micro- meso-level. First, present exploratory research aimed to illustrate main characteristics novel standard. Second, through an online-based questionnaire among 105 managers employees working various industrial sectors Italy, investigate their level awareness perception selected monitoring indicators. Such analysis will help identify weaknesses strengths current version applied descriptive statistics regression models estimate association between indictors concepts “circular economy”, “lifecycle thinking”, “sustainable development” “corporate social responsibility”. Although limited number respondents took part research, explored, features related UNI/TS 11820:2022, proposed original users’ its application, suggested possible opportunities towards from theoretical managerial perspectives.

The organization and coordination of cross-border e-commerce platforms in agricultural product trading are continuously increasing, the involvement digital has driven integration development supply chains with live-streaming e-commerce, effectively facilitating comprehensive producers, sellers, professional service providers within ecosystem. However, despite growing importance this model market, there still numerous unresolved issues from a chain perspective, existing research provides relatively limited guidance on effective operation integrated model. To address gap theoretical research, study first delves into essence fundamental characteristics sustainable context live streaming. Secondly, employing grounded theory as primary method combining platform ecosystem theory, an influencing factor system impact for streaming constructed to gain more understanding complexity Finally, perspectives government agencies practitioners, pathways proposed, aiming enhance provide decision-making support relevant stakeholders formulating strategies. findings contribute expanding perspective chains, providing establishment Additionally, it offers important references promoting industry upgrading, global trade, achieving mutually beneficial outcomes.

The circular economy (CE) offers a promising framework for sustainable resource management; however, assessing its performance remains challenging due to lack of robust methodologies, metrics, and data. In agrifood systems, CE has the potential improve efficiency food security. However, limited research explored interventions in this sector, emphasizing need tailored assessment tools. This study seeks advance intervention evaluation systems through realist literature review discussion on system assessments bridge identified knowledge gaps. Our reveals that most frameworks only address technical or environmental dimensions their measurable nature predominance laboratory research. focus underscores necessity incorporating real-world contexts. Insights from evaluations suggest future should develop holistic encompassing technical, environmental, social, economic dimensions. A systems-thinking approach is important understanding complex interactions among these dimensions, involving mapping, key component identification, development context-specific metrics adaptable global local settings, particularly low- middle-income countries. Active stakeholder collaboration throughout design, data collection, essential creating relevant indicators. Integrating elements supports comprehensive systems.
