Abstract To achieve a more sustainable agricultural production system, the focus should extend beyond solely promoting adoption of organic farming to include an emphasis on extensification. A synergistic approach involving Branding/informal certification, price premiums for produce, and government subsidies holds potential drive higher levels extensification among smallholder producers. This study encompassed 415 growers engaged in varying degrees farming. These participants were drawn from Southeast region Nigeria. Employing multi-endogenous instrumental variable regression, research uncovered compelling insights. Notably, it revealed that providing products utilizing Branding or informal certification significantly supported growers' inclination expanding land area under agriculture. Conversely, exhibited negative influence rates. In light these findings, becomes imperative envision robust future Nigeria hinges strategic investments formal certifications, thereby facilitating enhanced integration producers into larger domestic global markets.
